Greenhouses are an environment specifically built for growing flowers and plants with the same features of their natural habitat..
Greenhouses are forcing means, since they make it possible to obtain cultivations in places and periods of the year, which are incompatible with the growing of the plants themselves. In fact, they allow the creation of an environment, where temperature, humidity, air, soil temperature and light duration and intensity can be controlled and dosed.
They are structures can be divided in :

The materials of the greenhouses
The variety of the materials and of the shapes is validated by the functions of the greenhouse itself.
The greenhouses can be fixed or temporary.
For the bearing structure, materials, such as galvanized iron in tube, are used. The cover may be realized in glass or plastic material; in addition, the covering material must have good optical features, withstand mechanical stress and working temperatures.
The properties of greenhouses are due to the fact that the solar radiations permeate through the transparent cover of the greenhouse, which, holds, instead, the radiation emitted by soil and by the plants; this effect, (the socalled greenhouse effect) determines an increase of the temperature inside the greenhouse itself.
In the agri-food business, the greenhouses of horticultural and nursery-gardening production can be single with only a span or multiple.
They are usually built in iron and covered with long duratin plastic films, which are specifically used in agriculture. The SKY film, has been particularly designed to achieve high quality, better stability and guarantee a resistance greater than the average.
The greenhouses in glass are, on the contrary, more used for the development of nurseries, garden centers, intended for production as well as for sale to the public.
The greenhouses can be completed inside by heating, cooling, shading, opening and sensor installations, which have been designed for achieving the optimal conditions needed for each specific cultivation and for managing the cultivation itself easily and efficiently
The greenhouses enhance hydroponic growing. The greenhouse is, in fact, suitable for the application of the growing tecniques without soil, ( i.e. technique where the soil is replaced by an inert medium resulting from a mixture of clay, cocoa fibers, mineral wool, etc.). Supporting poles, wires and gutters are used to improve the anchoring of the plants, which, by means of fertilizers and irrigation, are able to obtain the maximum in a physical environment, i.e. the greenhouse, where the parameters are more easily controlled.

The basic elements of the structure are realized in galvanized steel through the Sendzimir Z 275 processing or through a dip of molten zinc and are manufactured according to criteria, which make their assembly easier.
The greenhouses are manufactured in compliance with the EN 13301 regulation.
